This site represents an archive of six years of Re.projects activity, exhibitions and events.

Re.projects operated from 1999 to 2005 as a multidimensional space through which the elements and ideas of contemporary art practice could be created, curated, debated and disseminated.

Building on a rich and varied regional arts scene Re.projects made a valiant and critical stance against the urban and metropolitan mainstream by initiating and hosting top quality contemporary culture in the centre of a small peripheral market town.

Based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, in the west of England, Re.projects ran a programme of events and exhibitions by regional, national and international artists and groups realised through the Re.projects space; the Re.source digital resource centre, the Reflux club and the Re.projects web site.

As part of Stroud Valleys Artspace (SVA) studio group and artists network Re.projects aimed to provide an inspiring and provocative interface between the studios and network members, national and international artists and a growing regional audience.

SVA continues to support local, regional and international artists and develop critically engaged projects. The on gone programme can be found of the SVA website www.sva.org.uk
